The story

Composed on the surface, still wild underneath.

Still Wild is the travel practice of Jack Abramowich – built on a simple observation: the people who book very good hotels and the people who go to Antarctica are usually the same people. Composed on the surface, still wild underneath. Most of the travel industry makes them choose a lane. This practice doesn't.

Jack joined Fora Travel as one of its early employees and spent years inside the machinery of modern travel advising – then started booking trips himself. The book that grew from there runs from three-night city weekends to a family expedition at the bottom of the world, and it treats both with the same seriousness.

He has travelled to all seven continents and 32 countries – most recently Antarctica, with his own family, on a voyage he planned. The trips on this site aren't stock photography of places somebody read about. They were sold, then travelled, then filmed.

Home is Vancouver, where the mountains meet the Pacific and the airport opens to everywhere.
